This privacy statement explains our privacy practices with regard to all Sparkfly program participants.
This privacy statement is effective as of January 1, 2011.
ScopeThis privacy statement applies to all Sparkfly programs including but not limited to any Sparkfly Employee-based promotion, discount, or benefit program, Sparkfly's SparkQuest program, and Sparkfly's SparkSpree Merchant Voucher program, and any other program or programs offered by or available through Sparkfly (all such programs being collectively referred to as the "Sparkfly Programs"). The Sparkfly Programs enable members, users and participants to receive promotional offers from retailers, restaurants, entertainment providers and other merchants.

Website Visitors and Prospective Sparkfly Programs' Members or UsersIn general, you may browse many parts of the Sparkfly website without providing any personal information. As discussed in more detail below, we will collect your IP address and other information about your online activities using web log technologies (such as cookies and web beacons), which we may combine with personal information if you have provided us with it.
You may also request information about the Sparkfly Programs offline, such as by calling us. We will collect the personal information we need to provide the information you have requested, or the information or offers we believe you wish to receive.
Sparkfly Programs' Members or UsersSparkfly's goal is to provide Sparkfly Programs' members or users with numerous, valuable discounts and promotional offers. We collect personal information from consumers as needed to register them for participation in the Sparkfly Programs, in some instances to tailor offers or promotions to them (such as by city or zip code) and otherwise administer the Sparkfly Programs.
In general, Sparkfly collects the following types of personal information when you register to participate in any of the Sparkfly Programs:

- Other personal information that you may choose to provide, such as information about the types of offers you are interested in, your household, your age and hobbies, as well as any comments or ratings you provide about merchants;
- Payment information, if you are purchasing items including by not limited to products, services, Merchant Vouchers or other items.
When you use Sparkfly Programs to take advantage of a promotion partner's program or offer, we collect transaction information, including the name of merchant, the location of the merchant, the time of your visit to the merchant's location, the specific offer redeemed, and information about other products and services that you purchased from the merchant including but not limited to the purchase price(s) you paid.
Information Collected Using Passive TechnologiesWhen you use our website, we use cookies and web server logs to collect information about how our web site is used. Cookies are pieces of data that a web site transfers to a visitor's hard drive for record-keeping purposes. Cookies placed on our web sites may be set directly by our servers or by third parties providing technical services to us. To prevent cookies from tracking you as you navigate our web sites, you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. When We Disclose Personal InformationWe may disclose your personal information to our affiliates, Merchants and our Employer clients (but only if you are an employee of the Employer client we disclose your personal information to) only for use for the purposes listed above. We do not otherwise disclose personal information to unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing uses unless (i) the disclosure is needed to fulfill your specific requests for products, services or discounts, or (ii) you have consented to the disclosure.
We may disclose any information with our service providers for the purpose of helping us operate the Sparkfly Programs, but we forbid these companies from using your personal information for their own purposes.
Please note that we may disclose any information as permitted or required by law, when necessary for health or safety purposes, required legal reporting, or to protect our legal rights.
For example, we may disclose information about you to our auditors or legal advisors or in response to a subpoena. We may also disclose information about you in connection with the sale or transfer of our assets or business.
Please note that we may disclose any information to any third party that is does not contain Personal Information. For example, Sparkfly may publish reports containing aggregate information regarding the Sparkfly Programs user community or transactions.
Information about ChildrenThe Sparkfly Programs are designed for consumers over the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 16 via our website or offline.
Your ChoicesOur goal is to respect your preferences about our use of your personal information. We only want to send you information if you want to receive it. We also want to communicate with you in the manner that works best for you - whether that's email, phone, fax or direct mail.
